Endless meat sounds good at anytime, but especially before or after a long concert or game. Fogo de Chao offers just that. The Brazilian chain may be a bit on the pricier end, but it’s definitely worth every penny.
With their continuous service, you’ll get everything your meat-lover heart could possibly desire, including Filet Mignon, beef ribs, bacon-wrapped steak, chicken, lamb and seafood. If you want to switch up your palette, there’s also delicious desserts, such as Papaya Cream and Brazilian-Style Flan.
Fogo de Chao is open for lunch, dinner and even brunch.
The Palm Los Angeles serves high-end steakhouse fare, including Prime Ribeye Steak, Veal Chop Parmigiana and Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail.
The wine list and cocktail menu are also both extensive, as you’d expect from a good steakhouse. You can try some of The Palm’s classic cocktails such as The Palm Margarita or The Palm Mule. Whatever your pick, you’ll be celebrating the win or forgetting the loss of a game in style.
If you visit The Palm after a basketball game, you just might bump into some of your favourite players. The steakhouse attracts just about everyone with a few extra dollars to spare.
If you’re a fan of Mexican food, you’re in luck! El Parian is an authentic Mexican restaurant located near the Staples Center. Goat meat is the specialty at El Parian. The restaurant serves dishes such as goat stew and goat tacos. You can bet that the goat is tender and juicy, too. Perfect for filling you up right before a game or concert!
If you’re a “breakfast at anytime” kind of person, El Parian also offers chilaquiles (a traditional Mexican breakfast dish consisting of corn tortillas cut into quarters and lightly fried). On top of that, their rice with beans gets rave reviews.
It would be a shame to visit the Staples Center and not try out a donut from Birdies. It’s the perfect pre-game snack! There are all kinds of flavours, including Strawberry Shortcake, Pistachio Thyme, and Oreo Cookies & Cream.
Birdies also offers chicken wings and fried chicken sandwiches. You can’t go wrong with the latter! The chicken breasts are covered in a crispy batter that is seriously drool-worthy.
And to quench your thirst, Birdies offers lemonade and every type of coffee you could possibly want (Chai Lattes, Americano, Cappuccino, Espresso and more). Although Birdies is only a takeout operation, it’s definitely worth the stop.
