Brunch with a view? Yes, please! Bar Avec was inspired by seaside cafes found along the Iberian coast and offers Spanish- and Portuguese-inspired dishes.

Some of the items on its expansive menu includes Pistachio Pesto Quinoa, Sea Trout Gravlax and Fried French Toast. The menu also consists of brunch cocktails, such as Lust for Life (made with jin jiji darjeeling gin, grapefruit, vanilla cordial and lime) and Fresa Frio Daiquiri (made with plantation 3 star rum, uruapan charanda, xaymaca, strawberry, rhubarb liqueur, p.x. alvear sherry and lime).

Bar Avec is located at 640 N LaSalle Dr. Chicago, IL 60654. Brunch is offered every Sunday from 10AM to 2PM. Prices for main dishes vary from $12 to $28.

Andros Taverna
