This landmark occasion, titled “The World’s Most Magical Celebration,” will kick off on October 1, 2021, and continue for a whopping 18 months with a long list of events, new attractions, and more on the itinerary.
According to Travel Pulse, Disney World recently unveiled a number of new events and attractions for this celebration.
Among those is “Disney Enchantment,” a new nighttime event that will kick off on October 1 at Magic Kingdom and feature music, dazzling lights hows, fireworks, immersive projection effects, and more.
On the same night, an event called “Harmonious” will commence at EPCOT. This one will emanate from World Showcase Lagoon, and pay tribute to “the unifying power of story and song will utilize pyrotechnics, fountains, lighting and media in a new way,” per Travel Pulse.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, a brand new attraction, will also open at a newly expanded area of EPCOT’s France pavilion on October 1. This new attraction is intended to give guests the impression that they’ve shrunk down to the size Chef Remy inside of Gusteau’s famous restaurant—and as you probably expected, there will be food aplenty.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom will also will also unveil some new entertainment starting on October 1. Several times a day, a new show called “Disney KiteTails” will go down inside the Discovery River Amphitheater. The show will see performers fly kites depicting popular Disney animals such as Simba, Zazu, Baloo from The Lion King, King Louie from The Jungle Book, and more.
Disney will also unveil sculptures of 50 of its most iconic characters, such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto and Chip ‘n’ Dale, which can be seen all over the parks starting October 1.
