The party isn’t stopping for Disney World.

A recent blog post from Disney Parks revealed important dates and information for the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Guests planning a visit to the happiest place on earth in 2023, will be able to purchase theme park tickets and resort bookings starting June 8, 2022.

To celebrate Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary on October 1, 2021, a benefit was made available to Disney Resort guests. With valid admission, park reservation, and resort ID, guests have early entry and access to any of the four theme parks and their respective attractions, shops and dining. Although this had initially been for the park’s anniversary, Disney has extended the benefit so it will be available until the end of 2023.

Updates have also been made regarding the Disney Genie+ Service, which offers a Lightning Lane entrance allowing you to go past lines on select attractions. Starting June 8, 2022, the service may only be purchased on the day of the visit through the My Disney Experience app. Pre-purchase will no longer be available for the remainder of 2022 and throughout 2023. In their blog post, Disney explains that this adjustment was made to, “help manage the incredibly strong demand our guests have shown for Disney Genie+.”

These updates are sure to bring the best possible experience to guests, making the happiest place on earth even happier.
