You may have heard of the Seven Magic Mountains, an installation that artist Rondinone recently put up near Las Vegas. Well, now there’s an 8th Magic Mountain in Miami. Located at Collins Park in front of the Bass Museum, it features five rocks painted in a Day-Glo rainbow of colors. The 41-foot-tall work allows for a great pop of colour to your Instagram feed.
Art Deco District
Buildings in the Art Deco style are usually characterized by bright colors or pastels, and embellished with porthole windows, geometric fountains and other unique features. Sounds like they’d make a perfect backdrop for your Insta pics, don’t they?
Miami’s Art Deco District is made up of 800+ buildings and structures built between 1923 and 1943. It’s located on Miami Beach between 5th Street and 23rd Street, along Ocean Drive, Collins Avenue and Washington Avenue.
Miami Design District
Designer stores make for popular Instagram pictures on their own, but Miami’s Design District takes these stores to another level.
There are lots of different spots to take great photos. For example, there’s a colorful display just outside the Fendi store. And at Dior, there is a pop-up cafe on the roof terrace to get designer coffee. It is located at NE 39th Street.
