You can also expect pure luxury at Atlantis The Palm. Choose between two suites—”Neptune” and “Poseidon”—which both include a 30-minute personal training session, free airport transfers, and 24/7 in-room dining.

The resort also offers family activities. At Dolphin Bay, you can get up close and personal with dolphins by swimming and interacting with them. You’ll also learn about them and get to go behind the scenes of the resort to see how the trainers care for them. At Aquaventure, you and your little ones will have fun on the many water slides.

Hilton’s Conrad Rangali Island Resort (Maldives)

If luxury is your calling, then you’ll love Hilton’s Conrad Rangali Island Resort. The resort was
twice voted ‘Best Hotel in the World,’ and contains posh villas and award-winning dining.

The Muraka was the first underwater villa in the world. It is two levels and can sleep nine people. The structure has a lower level sunk 16 feet below sea level with a master suite, bathroom, and lounge. Up above, there is a gym, butler’s quarters, security quarters, second living room, kitchen, bar, and deck. What more could you possibly want for an unforgettable vacation?

InterContinental Shimao Wonderland (Shanghai, China)

If you prefer modern accommodations, then the InterContinental Shimao Wonderland may be the right choice for you. Atkins Design built the futuristic, luxury accommodations into the side of a quarry.

The 370-room hotel includes two underwater levels consisting of a restaurant and guest rooms. There is also an artificial waterfall on site, which almost looks natural. In addition, the hotel has a large sports center, where guests can participate in water and outdoor sports such as bungee jumping, rock climbing and parasailing.

You may also be pleased to know that the hotel is eco-conscious, with most of its energy coming from renewable sources such as solar and geothermal.

Manta Resort (Tanzania)

If you’re looking for privacy, look no further than the Manta Resort in Tanzania. The resort is a floating glass cube on the Indian Ocean, off of Pemba Island on the Zanzibar archipelago. It allows guests to be completely immersed in the ocean, as each room is placed about 13 feet below sea level. You’ll be mesmerized as a variety of fish species swim by, but the main attraction is the manta ray.

The resort also offers activities to keep you entertained, such as diving, snorkelling and deep sea fishing.
