Dubai is the new home of the world’s highest infinity pool.
This record-shattering infinity pool can be found at Dubai’s Address Beach Resort. It clocks in at at an incredible 964 feet (293.906 meters) above sea level. That’s almost as tall as Paris‘ Eiffel Tower, which is 984 feet tall.
It’s no kiddie pool, either.
The new infinity pool at Address Beach Resort is nearly twice as long as an Olympic-sized pool, with a lung-busting length of 311 feet (94.84 meters). It’s width, meanwhile, is a significant 54 feet (16.5 metres).
Amazingly, this new pool isn’t the only record-breaking feature of Dubai’s Address Beach Resort.
Address Beach Resort is connected to a neighboring tower, Address Beach Residences, by a skybridge from the 63rd to 77th floors. Home to a collection of luxury apartments, it’s suspended 965.7 feet (294.36 meters) above the ground, making it the world’s highest habitable skybridge floor.
Suffice it to say that, Address Beach Resort is making a definite splash—even in a city as extravagant as Dubai.
“Staying true to our testament to developing landmark projects, we are proud to be breaking two Guinness World Record titles with the Address Beach Resort,” Federico Rota, deputy CEO of parent-company Al Ain Holding, told CNN. “With state-of-the-art construction and groundbreaking amenities, this development has set new standards in luxury lifestyle and hospitality.”
Address Beach Resort’s new record-breaking infinity pool is only open to hotel guests aged 21 and up. However, non-guests can take in the view by booking a table at the adjacent Zeta Seventy Seven rooftop restaurant.
